Cookies, Tracking & Device Storage Notice
Current-state transparency for storage, access and tracking technologies on the CAUSVEN pre-launch website.
Version 1.0 · Effective date: 15 September 2026 · Last updated: 15 September 2026.
1. Scope
This notice applies to the current audited build of the public causven.com website. It explains whether the website currently places or reads cookies or similar browser/device storage, and how future changes will be governed.
This is a pre-launch transparency notice and is not yet a legally complete operator identity notice. It is not a permanent promise about future versions of the website.
3. Current browser storage status
The audit found no localStorage keys, no sessionStorage keys, no IndexedDB databases, no Cache Storage entries and no Service Worker registrations on the audited routes. WebSQL was not available in the audited Chromium runtime.
4. Technical request data
Server-side request logs are different from browser/device storage. The web server may process technical request data such as IP address, timestamp, path, method, response status, referrer and user-agent for delivery, security, troubleshooting and abuse control. That processing is described in the Privacy Notice.
5. Strictly necessary technologies
The current audit did not identify site-set cookies or similar client storage that needed to be classified as strictly necessary. If a future feature uses a cookie or similar technology, any strictly necessary exemption must be assessed for its specific purpose and cannot be extended to analytics, advertising or unrelated secondary use.
6. Analytics status
The current audited build has no site-owned analytics technology and no analytics tracking-host requests were observed during the runtime audit.
7. Advertising status
The current audited build has no advertising pixels and no targeted advertising technology was observed in the audited browser flow.
8. Third-party tracking status
The runtime audit observed no third-party request origins and no external scripts on the audited public routes. This is a current-build finding, not a promise that the website can never use a third-party service.
9. Similar technologies
The current audit found no session replay, no tracking-query beacons and no fingerprinting indicators in the loaded first-party JavaScript scan. Similar technologies that store information on or access information from a user's device are subject to the same change-control review even when they are not called cookies.
10. Consent model
No consent banner is currently required for the audited build because the audit did not identify a cookie or similar terminal-storage/access technology that currently requires consent. This classification is tied to the current audited build and applicable law; it is not a statement that consent is unnecessary in every jurisdiction or future configuration.
CAUSVEN will not add a consent banner merely for appearance. Where future technology requires consent, the required control must exist before that technology is activated.
11. Future change gate
Before activation of any new non-essential storage, device-access or tracking technology, the change must pass legal review, consent-requirement reassessment, Privacy Notice update, Cookie Notice update and runtime re-audit. Where consent is required, activation is blocked until the necessary consent control is implemented and validated.
12. Browser controls
Browsers generally allow users to inspect, delete or block cookies and site data and to use private-browsing controls. Those browser controls are user tools; they do not replace any consent mechanism that applicable law may require from the website operator.
13. Notice versioning
This notice is Version 1.0, effective 15 September 2026. A material change to cookies, storage, scripts, third-party origins, analytics, advertising, pixels, replay, fingerprinting or similar technologies is a mandatory review trigger.
